Jonah’s was founded in 1929 by Constance Vidal, a visionary who saw the potential of a cliff top roadhouse. One of the first buildings in the area taking in the incredible location, the current bar is the original dining room and the reception area was the expansive veranda. Jonah’s moved from roadhouse to fine dining following the second World War where appreciation for luxurious experiences grew. In 2001 Jonah’s undertook major transformation to create a boutique retreat that continued to take advantage of the spectacular position and view. Luxury rooms with private balconies and jacuzzi spa baths, space for on-site beauty treatments, additional outdoor areas, an infinity pool and meeting spaces were added.
